The synergistically acting enzymes in GROZYME improve digestibility of feed and the probiotics, B.subtilis and B.licheniformis release enzymes in the gut which act as supplementary enzymes. B.polymyxa produces the antibiotic polymyxin that is antagonistic to gut pathogens. All these probiotic bacillus spores also occupy the receptor sites and competitively exclude pathogens.
